Growing up I loved watching my father and grandfather design and build kitchens for their clients.  In the back of my mind, I thought one day I would be a part of the family business, though life's journey took me on a winding road.

 

I graduated from Allegheny College in 2002 with a BA in Communications.  I enjoyed 9 years working in publishing with a small firm in the South Hills.  My husband Al and I bought a townhouse, and in 2010 we decided to remodel and start a family in the same year.  After remodeling my first kitchen with my father, I was hooked.  In 2016, my husband and I bought a home in Wexford with the intention of remodeling the kitchen.  A new kitchen and three built-in projects later, I decided to open Art Design Cabinetry.  Like my father and grandfather, the satisfaction of completing a beautiful space for my clients is what drives me day after day!

 

My father, Harry, is a fabulous mentor, with 50-plus years of experience designing cabinetry and remodeling homes. His passion for this business and guidance ensures that each project is thoughtfully planned.  Melissa, my best friend and twin sister, joined the design team in November 2023.  She brings a clean, fresh design style.  Our line of cabinetry is hand-crafted specifically for your home and project.  This truly allows for superior function, style, and color.
